The Gallagher's Boxty House Training
Once you agree to become a Franchisee and you've paid your fee, the first stage of your new career is training.
We've spent literally months preparing our training courses and training materials. We wanted to create materials and training that leaves our franchisees in no doubt that they've made the right decision – the perfect decision to join us. And we think we've achieved that goal.
Training lasts 8 full weeks, during which you and your key staff be given all the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary to set up and operate a very successful Gallagher's Boxty House.
This training is split over time and involves different key staff for each session. Initially your training will focus on site identification and selection and an overview of the whole business.
The training is carried out in the main by Pádraic and Scott (we don't out source this to anyone else – as our franchisees are too important). With their input you can be sure of a 100% skill transfer carried out in a light hearted but focused manner. Yes, we also have fun whilst training – life's too short!
By the end of the training period you'll have all the necessary skills to recreate the unique Gallagher's Boxty House experience.
On-Going Support
Even though your training and the initial support and guidance will give you everything you need to succeed in this exciting business, you'll still need the ongoing support of Head Office.

- Mystery Shopper visits and reports – so you can see your business from the eyes of a customer
